Multiple Power Supply Image Frame Grabber
The following are the meanings of these MIPI channel related parameters in the GX4 Image Frame Grabber:
MIPI Channel Values
4C: Indicates that there are 4 C-PHY channels.
4D: Indicates that there are 4 D-PHY channels.
3D+1C: Indicates that there are 3 D-PHY channels and 1 C-PHY
channel.
3C+1D: Indicates that there are 3 C-PHY channels and 1 D-PHY
channel.
2D+2C: Indicates that there are 2 D-PHY channels and 2 C-PHY
channels.
MIPI D-PHY 1/2/4 Lane
D-PHY :
A physical layer interface standard commonly used for high-speed data transfer between mobile application processors and peripherals such as cameras and displays.
Lane :
In D-PHY, data is transmitted through a lane, each lane consists of a pair of differential signaling lines. 1/2/4 Lane means that 1, 2 or 4 lanes are supported for data transmission respectively.
MIPI C-PHY 1/2/3 Trio
C-PHY :
A new physical layer interface standard introduced by the MIPI Alliance, with higher data transmission efficiency and bandwidth compared to D-PHY.
Trio :
In C-PHY, data is transmitted over a group of three signaling lines (i.e., a Trio) instead of using differential pairs as in D-PHY. 1/2/3 Trio means that it supports data transmission over 1, 2, or 3 Trios, respectively.
